There is a room in the museum called “Folk Culture of Shenzhen”. Tourists get to look at the arts and crafts in museum from a long time ago. You can notice how people used to live and what they wore. There is a special holiday called Chinese New Year and you can see display of people lighting fireworks and bowing to theirolder relatives. There are different kinds of Chinese calligraphy on the walls in this room.

Subway: Take the Shekou or Longua line to Civic Center Station and get out of exit B

Taxi: If you take a cab from the railway station, the taxi fare will be around 30 RMB.If you take a cab from the airport, the taxi fare will be around 80 RMB.

There are displays of people long time ago fighting in the sea on the brown boats. People can learn that China was born in 1949. They can also learn that Deng Xiaoping help to build modern Shenzhen. Visitors can look at the picture to see and to learn how Shenzhen was built.
